Who Am I?
Hello. My name is Stefan Gleisner, and I'm a UK-based English voiceover artist.
As you can hear on my reels and samples, my voice has been described as having an everyman sound; and, because I lived in different regions as a kid, I have a couple of authentic regional accents to draw on. My baritone pitch is clear in tone, with a playing age is between 30's and 60's. My recent work has been putting across new, complex ideas to sceptical audiences, and my clear, warm and authoritative tones have been key. This has been effective both in corporate work and audiobooks, for which I recently received a One Voice Award nomination.
My training has included: several courses from Gravy For The Brain; coaching over the last year from Richcraft; and Dale Carnegie presentations. Since I started VO full-time in 2021, I have narrated five non-fiction audiobooks for ACX, and a several corporate videos. Previously, I recorded internal company podcasts, sales training and hosted panel style videos.
I'm now based in the quiet town of Darlington, where I have a dedicated home studio. It's a self-built, sound-proofed space, equipped with a Lewitt Pure 440 mic, Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface, and a choice of Audacity or Cubase DAWs. It has wired and wireless UltraFast broadband for connectivity via ipDTL/CleanFeed/bodalgoCall (and Zoom/Google Meet/Teams).
In my spare time, I'm a volunteer producer and reader for the Darlington Talking Newpaper (for blind and partially sighted listeners)
I found Stefan on the ACX platform and he very quickly became my number one choice to narrate my audiobook. Working with Stefan was quite simply frictionless. I have worked with a few freelancers remotely, but Stefan has most definitely been the best by a long shot. Highly professional, with great communication skills and a wonderful grasp of what I was looking for.
As for his actual narrating skills I think he is brilliant. We required virtually no re-recording throughout the whole book aside from my own mistakes and some extra additions that I tried to squeeze in. Stefan’s patience was amazing, and I can’t thank him enough for a great job!
They say we all have one book in us. But should I ever strive for a second and want it narrated by a top class professional, I will be contacting Stefan without any doubt.

My baritone voice can be descibed as warm, friendly and authentic for commercials; or for instructional narration, elearning or documentaries I can offer clear, informative and trustworthy characteristics; and with my everyman tone I can be natural, conversational, instructional or authoritative as needed by you and your script.
In addition to voiceover services, including coporate explainers, audiobook narration, e-Learning including characters, online and broadcast commercials, medical eLearning and healthcare narration, documentary narration and others - I also produce the audio files to your specifications and can deliver in WAV, mp3 or other common formats.
I have a clear and well-modulated voice with excellent diction and pronunciation. The ability to enunciate words clearly and articulate effectively is crucial for conveying the intended message.
I am a versatile voiceover artist and can adapt my voice to suit a wide range of projects and styles. I'm able to convey different tones, emotions, and characterizations, whether it's for commercials, documentaries, audiobooks or coporate work.
With my professionalism and reliability I understand the importance of meeting deadlines, following directions, and delivering high-quality work consistently. I am professional, responsive, and able to work well with clients and collaborators.
I have the ability to take direction and adjust my performance accordingly. Always open to feedback, willing to experiment, and able to adapt my style and delivery to meet the specific needs of each project.
